WHAT IS GHANA SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT IN PARLIAMENT DOING? BY ON THE ROAD WITH AMIGOS. ( PHOTOS )
Saturday 12th of March. 2016, 7pm on UTV news, I heard MP for Oforikrom saying that the state has failed KAYAYEE (female Head Porters). My take is that can someone drag me to the privileges committee to challenge the House that they have failed Kayayee and not the state. What is Parliament doing about Policies and Laws for Head Porters? What is the entire Caucus on Social Welfare and Development in Parliament doing? How much allowance do they get for attending meetings locally and Internationally? These Head Porters come from communities across Ghana and what are their MPs doing about the Problem. On my Motorcycle since 1990 I have made numerous trips across Ghana and I have as an ordinary Ghanaian transformed the lives of many of these Head Porters. Yes one even works with the Ghana Army now after I took her off the street and got her trained with an employable skill in 1998!

Instead of Blaming the state the Oforikrom MP should blame herself and the House of Parliament for their in-actions. In fact, I am tempted to challenge any Member of Parliament to hit the road with me just for a week to see how it feels like to transform lives. They Drive V8 SUVs in the city whereas on my 20 year old motorbike and with my 25 year old little car I drive across Ghana to make a difference. Before we question the State lets ask ourselves what we have done in our little ways to develop our communities and it members.
