DATA PROTECTION LAW: LIST OF OFFENDING COMPANIES RELEASED. British Airways, African Regent Hotel and Royal Senchi Hotel are among some of the top companies to have flouted the laws of the Data Protection Commission (DPC). The companies are among over 100 data collectors published by the Data Protection Commission with the objective of naming and shaming them. The Executive Director of the Data Commission Teki Akuetteh Falconer at a press conference early this month said the commission would follow the publication with the arrest of the offending data collectors and ensure their subsequent arraignment. The Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843) mandates all entities whether public, private, local or international
