13-YEAR-OLD GIRL GAINS ADMISSION INTO KNUST TO PURSUE BSC MATHEMATICS.

Barring any hitches, she will graduate under 18 years and join the league of great minds like Tsatsu Tsikata who gained admission into the University at the age of 16 and obtained an LL.BFirst Class degree at the age of 18 years.

A 13-year-old girl who completed St. Louis Senior High at age 12, has gained admission at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Ruth Ama Gyan-Darkwa, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kwadwo Gyan-Darkwa of Space Workers College.

Ruth is a native of Anyimon , Berekum in the Brong-Ahafo Region and lives at Prempeh College, Kumasi with her father who is a Senior Tutor.

She attended Christ Our Hope International School in Kumasi and proceeded to Abraham Lincoln Junior High School (JHS).

Ruth, who was apparently a brilliant student, wrote the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) when she was in JHS 1 ahead of time at the Justice International School Asuofua in the Ashanti Region.

Her obviously proud father, Mr. Kwadwo Gyan-Darkwa, said Ruth subsequently entered St. Louis Senior High at age 10 and offered General Science and completed her Senior High (SHS) education at age of 12.

Ruth, according to her father, was born on May 29, 2004 in Kumasi, and barring any hitches, she will be graduating from the University under the age of 18.

If things go as expected, little Ruth will join the league of great minds like Tsatsu Tsikata who  gained admission into the University of Ghana, Legon, at the age of 16 and obtained an LL.BFirst Class degree at the age of 18 years.
